Embark on a breath-taking voyage to the outer limits of the universe with Gustav Holst’s astronomical tour-de-force The Planets.
In this filmed orchestral performance, Holst’s monumental music is combined with short talks about the cosmos and spectacular visuals.
In the third chapter, Star Death, Professor Paul Crowther provides an overview of the final stages in the evolution stars, including Planetary Nebulae and supernovae, enhanced by stunning images from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) spacecraft and artists impressions of stellar explosions.
