As part of Off the Shelf 2022, The Writers Workshop presented a Sounds About Write special to celebrate the launch of Leyla Josephine’s poetry collection, ‘In Public/In Private’.

Leyla won UK National Spoken Word Slam Championship in 2014 and her acclaimed solo theatre shows, Hopeless and Daddy Drag, have won awards including winner of the Autopsy Award 2019. The event also showcased an open mic with local writers in Sheffield.
