Embark on a breath-taking voyage to the outer limits of the universe with Gustav Holst’s astronomical tour-de-force The Planets.
In this filmed orchestral performance, Holst’s monumental music is combined with short talks about the cosmos and spectacular visuals.
In the first chapter, The Solar System, Professor Paul Crowther provides an overview of the planets, asteroids and comets within our Solar System, plus a sense of its scale, enhanced by stunning images from astronauts, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and European Space Agency (ESA) spacecraft.
