Experts discuss the benefits of multilingualism and early language learning. They emphasize the importance of celebrating diversity and the positive impact of teaching children a second language.
In the first episode of the series we will discuss the benefits of multilingualism, the advantages of teaching children a second language (the best gift parents can give them) and why it is important to celebrate our different accents in a diverse society.
For this conversation, Dr Patricia Nabuco Martuscelli and journalist Livia Barreira will receive Dr. Sabine Little, who is the director of Education at the School of Education at the University of Sheffield and Carmen Marfil, who runs the Kidslingo Spanish school for children in Sheffield.
