Invisible Threads
‘Invisible threads’ is a powerful play developed by Dr Sarah Hargreaves and Dead Earnest Theatre that tells the stories of families affected by mesothelioma.
Mesothelioma is a rare incurable cancer caused by exposure to asbestos.
Although asbestos was banned in 1999, its effects on human lives still lingers on. ‘Invisible threads’ is a powerful play telling the stories of families affected by mesothelioma, highlighting injustice, human spirit, and the strength, positivity, and hope of the mesothelioma community.
This event is a collaboration between Dead Ernest Theatre and the Mesothelioma UK Research Centre which was founded in 2020 and works to improve the experiences of patients and families affected by mesothelioma.
