Growing Up Multilingual with Chinese Heritage
Part of Festival of the Mind 2024
9 Dec 2024 12:00
For the research that underpins this video, over 200 children, living both globally and locally, have shared their experiences of growing up multilingual with Chinese heritage with us.
The project (funded by the Chinese Heritage Language and Culture Fund) was co-constructed with seven young co-researchers aged 11-16, who helped shape the research from its inception through to the analysis.
For Festival of the Mind 2024, we worked with nine young performers and two film makers to bring the data to life.
