The London Project to Cure Blindness is a collaboration between Professor Pete Coffey and Dr Lyndon da Cruz from University College London and Moorfields Eye Hospital. The project aims to use Stem Cell technology to restore sight, prevent progression and ultimately improve the quality of life for patients with Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and other retinal and macular disorders, combining cutting edge knowledge and technology from the laboratory,
clinic and operating theatre.
Professor Peter Coffey is Professor at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and Executive Co-Director of Translation Center for Stem Cell Biology & Engineering UC Santa Barbara.
