An Assistance Dog is the internationally established term for a dog that provides assistance to a disabled person, and is task trained to help support them in their lives. The Canine Care Project film, animated by Tom Hudson explores disabled young people’s experiences of their assistance dogs. It is a beautiful, professionally animated short film of key findings from the research, co-produced and narrated by disabled young people themselves. The film reveals the importance of support, care and the role of animals within our lives.
